Consultation

The first step is a complementary phone consultation to discuss your child’s speech and language needs. We will answer any and all questions you may have and then schedule an evaluation as needed.

Assessment

We will use dynamic and standardized assessments to complete a comprehensive speech and language evaluation of your child. Additionally, we will provide a parent questionnaire and complete observations to ensure we understand areas of strength and areas that require support.

Review and Plan

The final step of the evaluation process is to review your child’s evaluation report and proposed speech and language therapy plan with your therapist. We will discuss therapy strategies, therapy objectives, and a home program for generalization of skills.
